Being incurably obsessed with writing, we give birth to our gay poetry and other creative works on a daily basis. We strive to embrace different genres and media of self-expression and we still have a lot of exploring ahead.
Most of our writing revolves around love and everything that comes with it. We blatantly disagree with the notion that romantic poetry had exhausted itself long before we two learned to use pen and paper. Who wouldn’t enjoy a good love story packed with predictable yet heart-felt plot twists? Who doesn’t need a nicely put reminder that true devotion results in healing and self-acceptance? As two gay poets and writers in a generally homophobic country, we’ve been through a lot and found solace in our passionate love proclamations spilled on paper. As for our decision to share our works publicly, we only wish to inspire, spread our message of hope and indulge your deepest desires if you enjoy things hot ; )
october love (smells sweet like rot) – as the name suggests, this poetry collection is inspired by twisted Halloween vibes. Love poetry + dark, risky and spicy gore-y metaphors exploring what’s past the limits of socially acceptable? Yes, please! Full version of this collection will include 24 poems and our art adding visuals to the thrill of October moods. Our supporters on Patreon and Buy Me a Coffee will also have a chance to purchase the UNCUT ver. of the collection (30 poems) featuring the most provocative NSFW pieces. Enjoy at your own risk ; )
In the meantime, enjoy our chapbook with 10 selected poems for free!
Ongoing poetry projects:
the hues of us – this long-term poetry project handles tiny snippets of our shared memories and things we fantasize about by associating them with tints and hues. This way we develop a colorful kaleidoscope out of our precious moments and practice to make our writing more vivid.
vocab – intended as a collection of “dictionary entries”, this project pinpoints our personal layers of meaning behind words and expressions. Our plans for this collection are to eventually bring it to a new experimental level and connect separate poems into a huge web of concepts and feelings intertwined. Stay tuned for updates and feel free to offer us new words to play with via our email firstname.lastname@example.org!
museum of the little things between us – we value small things that played their part in what we are today. They are the ones that tell the real story of our love: cute postcards and small silly gifts, concert tickets and pressed maple leaves between the pages of a book we’ve bought together but never read. We want these things to stay long after they experience decay or get lost while moving homes. Unlike everything else, words are immortal and are able to serve better than any real museum.
from under our skin (nsfw+) – finally, this is where we keep the hottest and most explicit gay poetry stuff. The project will only be available on Patreon and Buy Me a Coffee. Sorry! We only wish to keep our blog as minor-friendly as possible : )
Our narrative poems in progress:
neon drugged – urban fantasy, erotica. The story covers seven weeks of torturous yearning after a young dreamer encounters a lustful creature, a one-of-a-kind neon demon. As they get involved in a fast-paced intimate relationship, the neon demon reflects on the curse of his nature, while the dreamer learns to survive his love and deadly addiction. SFW excerpts will be featured here on our website. However, more explicit parts are once again available for our patrons and subscribers on Patreon and Buy Me a Coffee.
darker sin – how about something even more risky and provocative? ; ) Maybe – just maybe – a fix-it for the myth of Cain and Abel with no unnecessary murders? Or some desperate confessions of two modern consenting adults longing for each other yet divided by harsh societal strictures? Anyways, since this narrative poem is NSFW and speculates around some really contentious topics, we once again invite you on our Patreon and Buy Me a Coffee to take a look!
And finally, our beloved brainchild, a semi-autobiographical and semi-self-indulgent novel in progress: Local Dreamers. While resembling your typical college teen drama (but immensely gay), the novel raises the topics of abuse, trauma, mental illness, and addictions, but also proclaims love, friendship, hope, healing, and embracing one’s true identity and sexuality. The structure of the novel is divided into several parts. Apart from retelling their story in literary form, the main characters offer their comments and insights into events of their distant past and reflect on them in their adult voices. All updates on our writing process will be available here, on our webpage, marked accordingly.
We will announce several other projects later. We hope that you’re now intrigued enough to venture into the mazes of wordweaving with us, your local dreamers : ) Sit comfortably, enjoy what we have to offer, and consider sharing your thoughts in comments or via our email email@example.com!
