how to fertilize | al yen

Check out my very first published poem!

al yen | Galateo (sonnet)

let’s put away our mundane skins and masks.
unsmooth me from refine and public law

julzzz hazard | Moses in the dark (sonnet)

how many solemn colors i contain
of tidal beauty in his feral psyche
i keep him closer, how i roughly like it
and watch the purple of his humming veins

julzzz hazard | high/low (ii)

feelings and thoughts reaching out one-way
body disintegrating into soulless dust
with emptiness sucking on me

would you please let me

only this once
though i’d constantly crave
for more
if you granted mercy

would you grant me

julzzz hazard | writer, lover

casually lent to others
“it’s a good laugh, i promise”
and after so many years
it’s almost considered gifted
to the receiver

al yen | “cover-up”

i watched you walk by
when you weren’t looking
you’re slicing the space
sliding through like a serpent
but sated
for now
