julzzz hazard | high/low (ii)

want to drag you down
the steeps of underworld
as close as skin
to its magmatic bottom
‘cos Dante got it all wrong

julzzz hazard | high/low (i)

you keep me high
with my stringless heart
forced up my throat
and clenched there
like a pulsing stone in a thrower’s
hand; ready to be shot
sometimes i can’t spare a word
because no god would answer me
if i’d sing to you
or weep

julzzz hazard | good morning

i want to die with you
i won’t bear a single moment of silence
feelings and thoughts reaching out one-way
body disintegrating into soulless dust
with emptiness sucking on me
from the other end
of the line

julzzz hazard | don’t let me drift to sleep

would you please let me
steal your breath
only this once
though i’d constantly crave
for more
if you granted mercy

would you grant me

julzzz hazard | writer, lover

i used to feel like a book
casually lent to others
“it’s a good laugh, i promise”
and after so many years
it’s almost considered gifted
to the receiver

julzzz hazard | love [1]

it’s you who keeps me hanging
       hold me tight
       hold me tight
love is a rope i tied around my legs
       keep me down
       keep me down

julzzz hazard | to blow one’s mind, p. 1-2

i want to
[blow your mind]
my hand slides lower
    behold me
    be my believer

julzzz hazard | “the hues of us”, basic colors

my eyeliner smeared
i cried from how i love you
or maybe
those were your wet kisses
against my eyelids
when you blessed me to
get some sleep in the taxi
on our late way home

al yen | “garland”

little fireflies over his bed
lay tender peach light
on my almond smelling skin
that remembers the touch
of flowers and water
from the bath
he made for me
and softness of the robe
embracing my naked body
like i wish he would

julzzz hazard | haiku about space

doesn’t expulsion feel
unfathomably cold
